Philosophy Fall Collection

Posted by anotherbeautyblogger on August 13, 2010

Another hot, humid, and sticky week here in Chicago.  Bring on Fall!  If you’re like me and you’re itching for Fall to get its butt here, check out the new Philosophy Fall Collection.  While there isn’t anything groundbreaking in the new collection, the collection definately features a lot of yummy scents that you will want to fill your bathroom with this Fall season.

Bobbing For Apples 3-in-1 Trio Set – “Bathtime is a barrel of fun with this trio of Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Baths. Savor the green apple, red apple, and caramel apple scents as you lather from head to toe. These moisturizing formulas gently cleanse and condition skin and hair. Dive in!”  You receive 3 6oz. bottles of Green Apple, Red Apple, and Caramel Apple Philosophy 3-in-1s.

Trick Or Treat 3-in-1 Duo Set – Sephora seems to have made a mistake and has the info listed on this page for the lip shine duo instead of the 3-in-1 duo.  I’m not feeling creative enough yet this morning to make up a fun little description so use your imagination! You receive an 8 oz Philosophy 3-in-1 in both Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Apple.

Trick-Or-Treat Lip Shine Duo – “Surprise a friend with these scrumptious lip treats. The Trick or Treat set includes pumpkin spice muffin and caramel apple high-gloss, high-flavor lip shines. These very emollient formulas melt onto lips for a sheer, beautiful shine and treat lips to the most loved flavors of the season.”  You receive a .5 oz lip shine in both Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Apple.

I Love Candy Corn 3-in-1 – “This oh-so-sweet candy corn scented shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath is back for more fall bathtime fun. The moisturizing formula provides a rich, foaming lather to gently cleanse and condition the skin and hair.”  This 3-in-1 is 16 oz.

Red Apple 3-in-1 – “Give yourself an apple a day with a shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath infused with the scent of a red delicious apple. This hydrating shower gel gently cleanses and conditions the skin and hair, while lifting your spirits. It’s the perfect pick of the season.” This 3-in-1 is 16 oz.

There are also 2 other new 3-in-1s that I’m not sure are technically considered to be part of the Fall line or not.  I think they could be considered Fall-y so I’m going to post them.

Cookies n’ Creme 3-in-1 – “Indulge in the delectable cookies-and-sweet-cream scent during your shower or bath. Inspired by cookies n’ creme ice cream, this shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath in one provides an ultra-moisturizing, rich, foaming lather to gently cleanse and condition skin and hair.”  This 3-in-1 looks just like the cookies n’ creme ice cream you would have in your freezer.  It is 16 oz.

Crispy Marshmallow Bars 3-in-1 – “This ooey-gooey, crispy-marshmallow-bar-scented shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath in one is a special treat for the fall season. The moisturizing lather gently cleanses and conditions skin and hair and the melty marshmallow sweetness indulges your senses as you add some snap to your day.”  Interesting.  This 3-in-1 is 16 oz.

I’m most intrigued by the Crispy Marshmallow Bars 3-in-1.  I’m curious to see how Philosophy was able to translate this scent to a 3-in-1.  But then at the same time, when I think about making Rice Krispies Treats I’m not really reminded of some mouthwatering aroma.  Guess I’ll have to check it out.  I already know I’ll love the Red Apple 3-in-1.  For me, apple is one of those quintessential Fall scents.  I love lighting an apple scented candle while having the windows open with a crisp Fall breeze blowing in.  God, when is Fall going to get here?!?!

What are your thoughts on the new Philosophy products?  Love them?  Hate them?  Think the scents are old and boring?  Already picked up the whole line?  Post a comment!
